About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Structural Fitter to join our team at Onin Staffing. As a Structural Fitter, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling structural steel components, ensuring high-quality welds and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine fabrication requirements
  • Layout and assemble units of material, using jigs and fixtures as necessary
  • Perform welding operations, including plate and structural steel fitting
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in structural steel fabrication and welding
  • Strong understanding of welding processes and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Math skills, including metric system and angles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
