Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our Steam and Condensate Group. As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality parts. This is a 2nd shift position, and new hires will train on 1st shift before transferring to 2nd shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to understand production requirements.
  • Operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality parts, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Perform tool offsets and minor program changes as needed.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and modify programs to resolve issues.
  • Examine work pieces for defects and measure components to ensure conformance with specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety procedures.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Assembly experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is a must.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and consistent.
  • Ability to work well as a productive member of a team.
  • Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Must have manual dexterity to assemble products as directed.
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
