Mainframe Systems Programmer

About the Role:
ApTask is seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our z/OS 2.3 and JES2 software environment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of our mainframe systems, including z/VM and zLinux. You will work closely with application programmers to resolve production issues and provide 24/7/365 software support. Additionally, you will assist in the analysis, design, and implementation of applications that interface with system software. Your expertise in software use and security authorization policies will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our systems.
