Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Greenwich Education Group LLC. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, data-driven instruction to students with complex learning profiles and secondary co-occurring needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans to support students' learning styles and current achievement levels.
  • Cultivate open and positive lines of communication with students, teachers, and parents regarding academic, social, and emotional progress and development.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues to ensure seamless support for students.
  • Meet the following requirements:
    • Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA (preferred)
    • Valid Connecticut state and school licensure or eligible for license to practice in the state of Connecticut Speech and Language Pathologist)
    • Minimum 3 years experience within a school-setting, with special education student populations with language-based learning differences
    • Familiar with the IEP process and the collection of progress monitoring data
    • Create and maintain an orderly and aesthetic learning environment that accounts for students' social, emotional, and executive functioning needs
    • Commitment to helping children of all abilities reach their full potential
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, enthusiastic style to fit with our small-team environment
