The Telemetry unit operates with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1, with occasional flexibility to 6:1. RNs are responsible for drawing labs and providing primary care for COVID patients, with a typical ratio of 3:1. The unit handles a variety of surgical patients, including those from Ortho, GYN, Spine, and Urology.
