Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team as an In-Store Demonstrator. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to all customers by facilitating in-store food/product demonstrations & events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate in-store food/product demonstrations & events to engage customers and promote products.
- Demonstrate knowledge of products, accessories, and services to build sales and practice suggestive selling.
- Use communication skills to effectively interact with customers, build rapport, and drive sales.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Set up and prepare Event Tables for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
Requirements and Conditions:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to stand up to 4 hours at a time, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear, visual ability to read instructions and perform events, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, lift and carry up to 42 pounds, push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart weighing up to 300 pounds fully laden with appliances, supplies, and product.
- Physical Appearance: Individuals must ensure a professional appearance and proper grooming is in order.
Working Conditions: Retail store environment with some travel.
