Party Chief

CME Associates is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Party Chief to lead our land surveying team in Camden, NJ. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of land surveying projects and maintaining our commitment to providing exceptional services to our clients.

• Lead a survey crew in the collection of accurate field data, including boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
• Operate and maintain surveying instruments and equipment, such as total stations, GPS units, and data collectors, to perform precise measurements and data collection.
• Organize and manage field data, ensuring it is accurately recorded, processed, and transferred to CAD technicians for further analysis and reporting.
• Conduct quality control checks on survey data, ensuring that it meets project requirements and industry standards, while addressing any discrepancies as they arise.
• Interact with clients and other project stakeholders as necessary to provide updates, address inquiries, and maintain positive working relationships.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Party Chief in land surveying is required.
• Technical proficiency in the use of surveying instruments and equipment, as well as a strong understanding of surveying principles and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate survey crews, ensuring that they work cohesively and efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address unexpected challenges in the field, ensuring the successful completion of projects.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and project stakeholders effectively.
