We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Adult C Unit at Avera Behavioral Health Center. As a Mental Health Nurse Specialist, you will provide compassionate patient-centered care for adults with behavioral health issues, including anxiety and depression.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in our Adult C Unit, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and medications.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Documenting patient information accurately and efficiently, using electronic medical records.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid RN license in the State of South Dakota or eligibility for licensure.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (preferred).
  • Experience working with adult patients with behavioral health issues (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to providing excellent patient care and achieving positive outcomes.
