We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiology Technologist to join our Cath Lab team at Foundation Health, LLC. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic diagnostic and interventional procedures, following and verifying referring providers' orders.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and treatments, demonstrating professional behavior and fostering teamwork.
- Produce high-quality images and prepare them for timely interpretation, maintaining accurate documentation.
- Demonstrate competence in performing prescribed invasive and interventional procedures, adhering to established policies and radiation safety guidelines.
- Assure efficient operation of workflow, monitoring and maintaining inventory of supplies and materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a certificate or diploma from an approved program in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technologist, or Invasive Specialist.
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
- At least one year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, with BLS and ALS certification.
- Effective communication and human relations skills, with the ability to analyze data and solve problems.
- Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
- ARRT certification preferred.
