We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images utilizing appropriate lead markers and date/time stickers.
- Prepare, transfer, and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty and safety.
- Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exams, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
- Check the operation of equipment, maintain cleanliness of tables/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases, and keep rooms stocked with linens and necessary supplies.
- Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
- Experience as a Radiology Tech in an acute-care hospital setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
