We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Origination Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems. As a key member of our Mortgage Fulfillment Division, you will play a critical role in guiding consumers through the loan origination process.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a pipeline of up to 75 loans, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Effectively communicate with consumers, Pennymac employees, and authorized third parties to resolve inquiries and issues
- Perform routine data entry and validation tasks, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Monitor work queues and intervene as needed to ensure efficient processing and issue resolution
- Collaborate with multiple departments to expedite processing and resolve complex issues
- Conduct preliminary research to accurately resolve and respond to customer inquiries
- Meet outlined production and quality standards, adhering to established policies and procedures
- Mortgage and/or financial services call center experience is a plus
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus (not required)
- General understanding of applicable Federal, State, and Local mortgage regulations is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective time management skills, capable communicator, and strong negotiation skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with computers and mainstream computer applications (Microsoft, Google, etc.)
