Childcare Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Childcare Specialist to join our team at Engaging Minds Autism Services. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children with autism and their families.

This position involves implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). As a Childcare Specialist, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the needs of each child.

• Develop and maintain accurate data on client progress
• Implement behavior plans, individualized treatment plans, and reinforcement schedules as directed by the BCBA
• Collaborate with the BCBA to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for growth
• Maintain a safe and engaging environment for clients
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding client progress and any concerns

An ideal candidate for this role should possess a strong passion for working with children with autism and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred, but not required. Experience in ABA therapy and/or working with children with autism is also desirable.
