Job Summary:

At Martin Marietta, we are seeking an experienced Estimator III to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately pricing and estimating asphalt paving work, with a focus on commercial projects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of asphalt paving, sub-grade, and related subcontractor operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and identify new job opportunities to bid
Determine bonding, licensing, and permitting requirements
Solicit proposals from subcontractors and manage them through project phases
Create and deliver project estimates, including labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor pricing
Review contract documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
Procure and manage subcontractors and materials
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience, with a focus on commercial projects
Project management and field supervisory experience
Strong understanding of asphalt paving, sub-grade, and related subcontractor operations
