Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team in Needham, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced RN to provide high-quality patient care in our Labor and Delivery unit. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
- Oversee other assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide population-specific care in accordance with BORN regulations and professional standards of care
- Render highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain current knowledge and skills
- Current MA RN license required
- Minimum of 1-2 years L&D nursing experience
- Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and conflict management skills
- Fetal Monitoring preferred
The RN works in a variety of patient care environments where there may be exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials. Caring for patients also involves exposure to human waste and other unpleasant elements.
