Logistics and Transport Specialist (CDL Preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage product orders, which includes receiving shipments, documenting them, and distributing packages and correspondence within the organization.
  • Prepare items for dispatch, load vehicles, and deliver products to clients or suppliers.
  • Organize and plan logistics for substantial shipments to guarantee sufficient storage capacity and personnel.
  • Keep accurate records of goods received and dispatched, and generate shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Tackle shipping and inventory management challenges and address client inquiries.
  • Assist in the systematic arrangement of inventory and part identifiers in the warehouse.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills.
  • Integrity, leadership qualities, and a focus on customer service.
  • Good analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Demands:

  • Extended periods of standing and walking, with frequent lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Utilization of necessary personal protective equipment.

Educational Background:

  • High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Possession of a current CDL or a willingness to obtain one.

Compensation:

  • Starting pay ranges from $18 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.

Work Schedule:

  • Shifts of 8-10 hours, Monday through Friday, during daytime hours.
