As a Registered Dietitian at Adventist Health, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive nutritional care to patients and residents with special needs or those at nutritional risk. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patients, developing personalized nutrition plans, and educating patients and their families on healthy eating habits.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify nutritional needs and develop effective care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and best practices to inform patient care
- Supervise and mentor dietetic interns and other healthcare professionals as needed
- Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition or equivalent
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification within 6 months of completion of residency program
- Preferred: Master's degree, experience as a clinical dietitian, and dietetic internship or its equivalent
