Job Summary:

Sanmina-SCI is seeking a highly skilled Senior FPGA Design Engineer to join our Advanced Technology Group in Huntsville, AL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-reliability FPGA devices for defense and aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex FPGA devices with embedded cores
  • Develop test cases for FPGA design validation
  • Test bench development for FPGA design validation
  • Document FPGA designs to DO-254 level C and higher
  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to develop new products
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer & Systems Engineering or similar field from an ABET accredited university
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in the design of complex FPGA devices with embedded cores
  • 5 years minimum experience with DO-254 Verification Process, DAL-C or higher
  • Extensive VHDL experience
  • Experience generating test cases from requirements and deriving lower-level requirements
