About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Therapist to join our team of professionals at ECHN. As a Senior Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of therapists in delivering exceptional services.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and a current license to practice in Connecticut. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be proficient in using Windows-based programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel. A strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry developments are essential qualities for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct and modify evaluations based on patient symptoms, level of activity, and medical status
  • Treat patients with appropriate and acceptable therapeutic techniques, including physical agents and manual therapy
  • Administer home exercise programs and functional activities to maximize independent functional activity
  • Determine when a patient has achieved maximal benefit from treatment and recommend discharge if appropriate
  • Document patient care in accordance with insurance guidelines and adhere to department policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure to practice in Connecticut
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in using Windows-based programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Access to reliable transportation for travel between work sites

Salary:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
