School Speech Language Pathologist SLP Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech therapy services to students with communication disorders in a school setting.

About the Position

  • Location: Providence, RI
  • Duration: Contract position from immediately until June 24, 2024
  • On-site: Yes
  • Full-time: Yes
  • Schedule: 35 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8:10 AM-2:50 PM

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate students' communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student learning
  • Conduct progress monitoring and adjust treatment plans as needed

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license or in process in the state of practice
  • 1 year of verifiable professional experience as an SLP within the last 3 years
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
