Job Title: Hospice Care Registered Nurse

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in need of hospice services.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to work with our partnering Hospice Care facility in Williamsburg, Virginia. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring the highest level of quality care for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • Active Registered Nurse Licensure/Certification in Virginia.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • At least 1-year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Prior experience in hospice care.
