Position Overview:
ASRC Federal Professional Services is actively seeking a dedicated Civil Engineering Associate to become a vital part of our team. This full-time position is based in a dynamic environment and offers a competitive sign-on incentive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the formulation of Installation Development Plans, ensuring alignment with project funding and execution strategies.
  • Contribute to the creation of CADD drawings, develop Statements of Work (SOW), and perform cost estimations for civil engineering initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough research and data analysis to support project objectives.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to achieve project milestones effectively.
  • Develop conceptual design drawings based on general specifications and standards for necessary approvals.
  • Utilize CAD software to replicate sketches, layouts, and drawings prepared by colleagues.
  • Advance designs through various stages of development under the guidance of the Program Manager.
  • Adhere to standard CAD procedures and drawing protocols as established by the Air Force.
  • Maintain an organized workspace to facilitate access to project information for team members.
  • Engage in larger, complex projects while supervising design and construction activities.
  • Coordinate with inspectors and specialists to ensure project compliance and quality.
  • Communicate project updates and changes to supervisors and stakeholders.
  • Complete assignments within established timelines and budget constraints.
  • Respond proactively to client needs and solicit feedback to enhance service delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by valuing diverse perspectives and encouraging peer learning.

Work Schedule:
This position operates onsite, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • An associate degree in surveying, drafting, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably with CADD.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain necessary certifications as per contract requirements.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of engineering documentation and specifications.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a background check.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and cost estimating software.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Desired Skills:
Previous experience with cost estimating software is advantageous. Candidates should also be willing to travel to various sites as needed.
