Job Title: Virtual Care RN Travel Nurse

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking a skilled Virtual Care RN Travel Nurse to join our team in Dubuque, Iowa.

Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced RN to work in a virtual care setting, providing high-quality patient care and support to patients and early career nurses. As a Virtual Care RN Travel Nurse, you will work in a less physically demanding environment, maximizing your expertise and supporting your desire for a change in physicality of work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide virtual care to patients, coordinating complex care and providing mentoring to early career nurses.
  • Work in a virtual setting, using video conferencing to communicate with patients and colleagues.
  • Assist new nurses via video, providing support and guidance in patient care.
  • Document patient information, including admissions, discharges, and fall prevention.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • 8 years of recent Med/Surg Tele or PCU experience in an acute care hospital.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Knowledge of Cerner.
  • RN license in the state you wish to work.
  • Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
