Job Title: Business Intelligence Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Data Technology team at PGA TOUR Superstore. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that provide actionable insights for our business units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide critical business insights.
  • Deliver actionable insights and tools that support key supply chain and logistics initiatives across the company.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
  • Create and maintain documentation for BI processes, data models, and reporting solutions.
  • Design, develop, and optimize data models in a cloud data warehouse platform to support complex BI reporting needs.
  • Integrate data from various sources across the enterprise into unified structures, ensuring data consistency and reliability across the organization.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, access control, and security within the BI environment.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions, ensuring quick response times and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, analytics, data science, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience with a modern cloud data warehousing platform including data modeling, query optimization, and best practices.
  • Extensive experience with a modern data visualization tool, including the ability to create complex reports and dashboards.
  • Expertise in SQL with experience in complex data transformation and translating open-ended business questions into queries and insights.
  • Experience with Snowflake preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI preferred.
  • Knowledge of at least one scripting language, preferably Python.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and processes.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain concepts and principles.
  • Retail experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
