We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Review and evaluate patient history, physical exams, and current vital signs to advise providers on appropriate respiratory care procedures and techniques.
- Initiate and update respiratory care plans for all patients, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to implement the plan of care.
- Provide and document patient education for therapeutic procedures performed, communicating information regarding patient clinical status to appropriate members of the healthcare team.
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent certificate is required.
- New York State Respiratory Therapist license is required.
- ACLS certification (current) is required within one year of hire.
