Position Overview
As a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing a specific patient demographic, ensuring that care is delivered through the effective application of the nursing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit proficient clinical assessment and care planning abilities. (25%)
- Deliver safe and effective patient care tailored to the age group served, adhering to all regulatory standards. (35%)
- Oversee and coordinate the patient care activities conducted by team members in a professional manner. (15%)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to formulate and implement the care plan from admission to discharge. (15%)
- Evaluate the educational needs of patients and their families, providing tailored instruction based on age, cultural background, and readiness to learn. (10%)
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Valid RN licensure in the State of PA or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Current CPR certification
