About the Role

Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is seeking a skilled and experienced Neurosurgery Clinical Coordinator Specialist to join our team. This key role will provide high-quality support for neurosurgical patients, working closely with clinical faculty and operations managers to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, managing high-volume phone lines and scheduling patient appointments in Epic Cadence Front Desk application.
  • Coordinate all aspects of physician practice for clinical care management, including referrals, authorizations, and pre-certifications.
  • Analyze office systems and workflow, implementing solutions to problems and providing functional guidance to the neurosurgery support team.
  • Create procedure and process manuals, maintaining physician meeting calendars, and arranging meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Aid with presentations and manuscripts as needed, retrieving screens and triaging physician mail.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of applicable experience required.
  • Associates or Bachelors degree or equivalent secretarial certificate or work experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, typing and/or keyboarding skills, and exceptional organization skills.
  • Good command of English language, including medical terminology, and understanding of all pertinent medical insurance plans.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to work independently or in a team environment, and flexibility to handle multiple tasks and deadline pressures.
Estimated Salary

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
