  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the non-profit sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in grant accounting and accounts receivable.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and non-profit accounting standards.
  • Proficient in financial reporting and revenue recognition.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
  • CPA designation or working towards it would be considered an asset.
