About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Surgical Technologist at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our operating room team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of surgical services to our patients.

Responsibilities

As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing the operating room for surgical procedures, maintaining aseptic technique, and assisting the surgical team during procedures. You will also be responsible for transporting patients and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and performing various patient positioning and transporting duties.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of aseptic surgical techniques, knowledge of various types of equipment used in the operating room, and excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull with 30 pounds of force, and perform a sliding transfer of 150 pounds with a second person present.
