Job Summary

The Seasonal Scale Operator will be responsible for operating the scale at our grain elevator, ensuring accurate and efficient weighing and ticketing of grain shipments. This role will also provide customer service and support to our customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the scale and weigh grain shipments accurately and efficiently
  • Manage ticketing and documentation for grain shipments
  • Provide customer service and support to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Assist with filing, reporting, and other administrative tasks as needed
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Proven computer skills and ability to work effectively with customers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel when necessary
  • Ability to work hours beyond those considered normal when necessary
