We are seeking a highly skilled Production Machinist to join our team in Lafayette, IN. As a Production Machinist at Aerotek, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines and performing various tasks in the machine shop.

About the Job

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lafayette, Indiana, offering a competitive salary range of $24.47 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to blueprint specifications
  • Responsible for production, quality, housekeeping, and other related duties associated with operations
  • Troubleshoot and solve everyday problems in the machine shop
Requirements

To be successful as a Production Machinist, you should have:

  • 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience running a machine in a manufacturing environment (CNC preferred)
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
