Position Overview

An ENT Physician|Otolaryngologist is sought to enhance a medical practice. This role is associated with one of the leading hospital networks in the area, ensuring robust support for its medical staff. The organization values empathy, teamwork, and a supportive environment among its healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Full-time, permanent employment
  2. Flexible working hours, typically from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
  3. Conduct inpatient consultations for a diverse patient demographic
  4. Manage an average of 20 outpatient consultations and perform 4 surgical procedures weekly
  5. Clinical and hospital duties, generally split as 60% clinical and 40% hospital-based
  6. Responsibilities include:
    1. Tonsillectomy procedures
    2. Cosmetic procedures
    3. Botox treatments for vocal cord inflammation
    4. Ear wax extraction
    5. Audiological assessments for hearing loss
    6. Management of nasal obstructions
    7. Correction of deviated septum
    8. Treatment of sinusitis and headaches
    9. Allergy management
    10. Ear infection treatment
    11. Cyst excisions
    12. Consultations for oncology patients
    13. Inpatient emergency department call as required
    14. High referral rates from primary care
    15. Inpatient surgical interventions when necessary
    16. Access to diagnostic equipment and specialist consultations
