Job Title: Sand Blasting Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Sand Blasting Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating pressurized water and abrasive blast media to remove contaminants from surfaces or finish them to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up high-pressure pumps and other necessary cleaning equipment according to safety procedures and guidelines.
• Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including personal protective gear.
• Work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heavy industrial settings.
• Perform manual cleaning, installation, and repair of valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and other external and internal equipment on tanks.
• Assist in inspecting equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and the general work area prior to starting any job.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Oil and gas contractor experience required.
• General labor experience is a plus.
• Must be able to travel for extended periods and respond to emergency calls 24/7.
• Must be capable of passing a hair follicle drug screen and obtaining a TWIC card if required.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and high elevations.
