Role Responsibilities
As an Engineering Manager on the CLM Collaboration Team, you will be instrumental in supporting and developing new functionalities for a suite of collaboration and negotiation tools within DocuSign's CLM and Intelligent Agreement Management offerings.
Your role will involve collaboration with other engineering managers and teams to engage employees in the product development process.
Additionally, you will partner with key stakeholders in software development to assemble a product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic vision.
The engineering manager will serve as a people manager, hiring manager, technical leader, and delivery manager for the teams you will closely collaborate with.
You will also coordinate with various departments within or outside the organization to ensure project completion and adherence to best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the product roadmap utilizing agile methodologies
- Develop and maintain a set of highly scalable, performant, and reliable services
- Collaborate with partner teams to create solutions that address the needs of multiple teams
- Work alongside the Product Management team to gather requirements and design the next generation of services
- Enhance the performance and reliability of existing services
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making
- Mentor and nurture team growth
Hybrid:
Employees split their time between in-office and remote work, with access to an office location required.
What You Bring
- A minimum of 5 years of combined experience in software development and management across various languages and frameworks
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience
- Over 3 years of experience managing software teams of 6 or more
- Proven experience leading full-stack engineering teams
- Preferred experience managing geographically dispersed teams
- Familiarity with multiple programming languages and paradigms
- Experience with cloud platforms and advanced web applications
- Knowledge of large, complex data ecosystems and data quality issues
- A track record of improving team processes and outcomes
- Experience with high-scale, highly available systems
- Proficiency in CSS, AJAX, JSON, HTML, or MVC
- Familiarity with Microsoft technology stack (.NET, C#, SQL Server, etc.)
- A history of identifying and developing talent
- Experience with full-stack SaaS development
- Proven experience launching initial product versions
