Job Title:.NET Developer

SYSCOM, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled.NET Developer to join our team. As a.NET Developer, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our client's Portal system, a centralized website providing various functions to customers external to the client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to design and develop software solutions
  • Formulate program specifications and prototypes
  • Transform software designs and specifications into high-quality code in the.NET family of languages
  • Integrate individual software solutions into higher-level systems
  • Use web-based tools to create and advance applications
  • Test code to ensure it produces the desired results and perform debugging when necessary
  • Perform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient
  • Modernize existing applications by rewriting them in newer technology
Requirements:
  • Four (4) years' experience with.NET development
  • Four (4) years' experience with Entity Framework
  • Three (3) years' experience with SQL Server / T-SQL
  • Two (2) years' experience with ASP.NET Web Forms
  • Criminal Justice experience
  • Experience and knowledge of the full Software Development Lifecycle
  • Data Extract Transfer Load (ETL) experience
  • SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Experience and knowledge in secure software development methodologies
  • Current residence status within the St. Paul, Minnesota area
