Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team at WestRock. As an Intermediate-level Pipefitter, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair activities on piping systems of all sizes in a large paper mill.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and repair piping systems and associated equipment
  • Cut, weld, and assemble components as needed
  • Interface with operators, engineers, and management to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  • Safely operate overhead cranes, rigging, and various power tools
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working in an industrial maintenance environment as an intermediate-level pipefitter
  • Previous experience in a pulp and paper mill or other heavy industrial plant is a plus
  • Experience with reading and taking measurements, welding principles, basic mechanics, power tools, and industrial safety
  • Formal apprenticeship or education preferred
