Key Responsibilities

The Property Management Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating the processing of move-out notifications, service requests, and resident transfers.
  • Implementing strategies for lease renewals and resident retention.
  • Addressing resident relations by managing inquiries and concerns effectively.
  • Conducting analysis of leasing reports to identify occupancy trends.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of marketing initiatives, including advertisements and promotional materials.
  • Overseeing rent collection processes, including issuing late notices and managing rent postings.
  • Reviewing and inspecting vacant units, ensuring they are ready for new residents.
  • Monitoring the property for compliance with community policies and identifying necessary repairs.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Property Management Assistant position will possess:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in leasing or property management.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends.
  • The capability to conduct property tours, which may involve walking and climbing stairs.
  • A valid driver's license may be required for this role.
