Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our Worker's Compensation team. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex worker's compensation cases from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in all phases of worker's compensation litigation, from initial intake through trial.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and prepare and argue cases before the Worker's Compensation Board.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, ensuring their rights are protected and they receive the compensation they deserve.
  • Provide legal advice to clients regarding their worker's compensation claims, explaining the legal process, their rights, and potential outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the effective management of cases.
  • Stay updated on changes in worker's compensation laws and regulations, and educate clients and colleagues on these changes.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A current license to practice law in the state of Georgia.
