About the Role:

Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer - Insurance Domain to join our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Enterprise Test Automation technical progress for Web, legacy, and other types of enterprise applications.
  • Maintain standards around test automation best practice and the technical framework with various appropriate sub-systems to cater to the enterprise-wide distribution of apps.
  • Articulate the ROI-based plan and track to it.
  • Employ GenAI-based/otherwise techniques to test automation scripting for overall optimization/savings.
  • Integration of dynamic test data into test automation.
  • Understand the Insurance domain and able to deliver based on business targets and priorities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of QA CoE experience with agile practices.
  • Strong experience in UI and End-to-End testing using automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber.
  • Implement different frameworks like Keyword Driven, Data Driven, BDD, Page Object Model.
  • Azure DevOps skillset, Quality pipeline setup experience.
  • API testing using Rest Assured, JSON.simple, TestNG, Jenkins, Postman.
  • Database, test data integration into the automation framework - RDBMS, HBase, Mainframe.

What We Offer:
  • The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 to $92,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
  • This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
