Join Our Team as a Direct Support Professional II

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional II to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a Direct Support Professional II, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

About the Role

The Direct Support Professional II will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing daily routines for clients, as outlined in their Individual Program Plan.
  • Assisting clients with daily living tasks, including bathroom needs and personal care.
  • Preparing and serving meals, as well as assisting with clean-up.
  • Transporting clients to and from their homes or facilities, as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Direct Support Professional Certificate, either completed or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of hire.
  • Current First Aid/CPR and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certifications.
  • A valid California driver's license.
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
