Echocardiography Specialist Job Description

Cayuga Health System is seeking a skilled Echocardiography Specialist to join our team. This per diem opportunity offers flexible scheduling and a competitive compensation package, including an estimated $38.56 - $57.79 per hour salary range.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in procedure rooms and operating rooms by performing echocardiograph studies and transesophageal studies.
  • Notify cardiologists of urgent pathologies observed during cardiovascular exams.
  • Maintain and clean Echocardiography Lab equipment, following infection control guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma required; Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program preferred.
  • Licensure or certification from ARDMS or CCI within six months of hire date.
