Position Overview

Shifts Available: Full Time Day and Night Options

The Patient Care Assistant utilizes a combination of cognitive, interpersonal, and technical abilities to deliver fundamental patient support. Under the guidance of the Assistant Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, or Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Assistant aids in the routine, direct bedside assistance of patients across various age groups as outlined by departmental services. Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to: personal hygiene, data collection and monitoring, vital signs assessment, intake and output tracking, equipment usage, activities of daily living (ADLs), documentation in medical records, responding to call lights, and identifying and reacting to emergency situations.

Required Qualifications:

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.

The figures provided represent the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, including shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
