Medical Director Opportunity at Theoria Medical

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team at Theoria Medical. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the medical operations of our skilled nursing facilities across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend and participate in monthly quality assurance and process improvement meetings
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide guidance to facility staff
  • Review and revise (if necessary) facility's clinical guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Train facility staff
  • Supervise facility clinical staff
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage day-to-day resident care at each facility
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered, comprehensive primary care services by rounding on patients residing in SNFs
  • Diagnose and treat patients with acute illness, such as bacterial and viral infections, as well as chronic diseases and conditions, such as hypertension, heart disease, or diabetes
Requirements:
  • Must be able to supervise collaborating nurse practitioners and physicians assistants
  • Must be able to utilize electronic/online medical tools such as EHR systems and state/county medical systems utilized for Death Certificates and administrative functions
