We are seeking a highly motivated Healthcare Credentialing Specialist to join our team at Northern Light Radiology Associates, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for healthcare administration.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

The Healthcare Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for managing the credentialing process for radiologists, including initial applications, reappointments, and changes in privileges. They will maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all radiologists, including licensure, certifications, and training. The specialist will ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

  • Coordinate with department heads, physicians, and hospital administration to collect required documentation and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in healthcare administration, credentialing, and medical licensing. They will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and other computer software programs is also required. Knowledge of Joint Commission standards related to medical staff credentialing is a plus.
