Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in software testing, emphasizing both manual and automated methodologies
  • Proficient in SQL, Java, and Jira; familiarity with additional testing tools and frameworks is advantageous
  • Strong grasp of Agile practices and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a passion for quality assurance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, including remote and offshore members
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • A genuine enthusiasm for testing and a commitment to ongoing enhancement of quality assurance processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with offshore teams is a notable advantage
  • ISTQB or other relevant certifications in software testing
  • Experience with additional test management and automation tools

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough manual and automated testing to guarantee the quality and functionality of software applications
  • Create, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to our production management solutions
  • Identify, record, document, and track defects using Jira or other defect tracking systems
  • Collaborate closely with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams to comprehend requirements, design comprehensive test strategies, and resolve issues
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and accuracy within our software systems
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts utilizing Java and other relevant technologies
  • Engage actively in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Work effectively with offshore teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project components
  • Ensure software meets all quality standards and project requirements prior to release
