POSITION OVERVIEW

We are in search of a Cashier/Receptionist who possesses outstanding customer service abilities and a positive demeanor. This role involves managing incoming calls to the dealership, assessing the nature of the inquiries, and directing callers to the appropriate destination. Additionally, this position requires fundamental accounting skills and familiarity with standard accounting processes in both accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate customer bills using the dealership's computer system
  • Receive payments via cash, checks, and credit cards, accurately recording amounts on repair orders and/or counter tickets
  • Provide change accurately and issue receipts to customers
  • Answer phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate departments, ensuring timely follow-up
  • Address customer complaints with diplomacy and refer issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution
  • Operate the switchboard telephone system
  • Engage with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, aiming to minimize hold times
  • Assist management with various clerical tasks as required
  • Maintain a friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues
  • Familiarize yourself with departmental structures and internal procedures to assist customers effectively
Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous
