Railserve, a leading provider of in-plant rail switching services, is seeking an experienced Rail Operative to join our team at Marmon Holdings Inc. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

About the Role:

This position involves operating heavy equipment, including locomotives and tank cars, to transport liquid chemicals and other materials across various industrial locations. As a Rail Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify tank car numbers and loading instructions to ensure accurate placement
  • Connect ground cables to prevent static electricity
  • Inspect tank cars for cleanliness and leaks
  • Operate pumps and valves to unload liquids
  • Clean exterior of tank cars and inspect safety equipment
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and military experience is preferred.
