Job Summary

OrthoAlliance MSO, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and certified athletic trainer to join our team in a high school setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering treatment of injured athletes under the direct supervision of our team physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat athletic injuries, determining the best course of action for each patient.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive preventative and rehabilitative plans of care for injured athletes.
  • Communicate effectively with team physicians, coaches, parents, and athletes to ensure seamless care and treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed injury records, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Manage the training room budget, including purchasing and inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate continuing education requirements for coaching staff, including CPR/AED certification.
  • Participate in conflict event coverage, tournaments, and other events as needed.
Requirements
  • Licensed athletic trainer in the state of Ohio.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in a secondary school setting preferred.
  • Adequate knowledge and skill to apply principles of quality physical therapy care.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion, with motivation to augment professional knowledge.
  • Emotional stability to exercise consistent, sound professional judgment.
Physical Requirements

The successful candidate must be able to frequently hear and communicate orally, see up close and at a distance, read and comprehend, stand, sit, walk, reach, handle, and/or feel objects. Must be able to climb, pull, push, squat, and/or kneel. Ability to demonstrate exercises properly without limitations. Maximum unassisted lift over 50 lbs, average lift 25-50 lbs.
