Reach Truck Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our team at PeopleShare Inc. in Sayreville, NJ.

Job Summary:

The Reach Truck Operator will be responsible for operating a reach truck, order picker, and forklift using an automated headset to pick items. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling chemicals and be able to use handheld scanners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the reach truck, order picker, and forklift to pick and pack items
  • Place materials into warehouse racking and move items on and off of trailers and racks
  • Scan, label, and inspect items for damages and verified shipping locations
  • Perform general shipping and receiving tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience operating reach trucks, order pickers, and forklifts
  • Ability to use handheld scanners and perform SAP & MES transactions
  • Some experience handling chemicals preferred

Working Conditions:

The Reach Truck Operator will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
