As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including adjusting equipment settings and using image processing software
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, imaging results, and equipment maintenance
Requirements:
- At least 2+ years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist or related field
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
