QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for teamwork.
  • Proven willingness and capability to learn various tasks and technical aspects of the role.
  • Must meet the minimum age criteria.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently and 75 lbs. occasionally.
  • Capability to reach shoulder height or above while lifting 30 lbs. on occasion.
  • Required to stand and walk for the entirety of the shift.
  • Must meet the volume activity standards set for the department.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, grasping, and lifting of produce items at or above waist level.
  • Use hands for tactile tasks; utilize tools for opening boxes/cases or preparing and cleaning produce.
  • Must be able to handle various substances related to cleaning and food products.
  • Tolerance for working in cold environments for short periods.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Assist customers in locating and selecting products.
  • Carry out assigned stocking, culling, and rotation tasks according to established guidelines.
  • Prepare all products (trimming, packaging, weighing, etc.) to meet quality standards.
  • Perform cleaning duties in line with company policies.
  • Uphold the highest product quality standards to align with departmental strategies.
  • Meet productivity benchmarks as defined in management planning.
  • Cultivate product knowledge across various areas of the department.
  • Recognize achievements and embody key behaviors: Be There, Make It Easy, Add Something To Their Day, and Be the Difference.
  • Support the training of fellow associates and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Must be capable of fulfilling the physical demands of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
